Financial Decision Lab Effective February 2026 financialdecisionlab.com

Financial Decision Lab is committed to publishing accurate, research-backed personal finance content. This page describes how our content is created, what sources we rely on, how we handle affiliate relationships, and how we correct errors.

1. Who Creates the Content

All content on Financial Decision Lab is written by Aditya Srinath, the site's founder and sole author. Aditya is a personal finance writer and equity investor who follows US financial markets, consumer credit, and personal finance closely. His writing draws on established research, published regulatory data, and primary sources — not opinion, anecdote, or SEO filler.

There are no ghostwriters, AI-generated articles, or content farms. Every article published on this site was researched and written by the named author.

2. Research and Sourcing Standards

Every article on Financial Decision Lab starts with a specific question a real person is likely to have, then works backward through published data to answer it accurately. Our research hierarchy, in order of preference:

Sources are cited inline at the point of use — not buried in a bibliography at the end. Where numbers have variance (e.g., income thresholds, interest rate ranges), the article explains the source of that variance rather than stating false precision.

3. Independence from Advertising and Affiliates

Core Principle

Affiliate relationships do not influence what we recommend, how we rank options, or what we write about. Editorial decisions are made independently of any commercial relationship.

Some articles on this site link to third-party financial products and services through affiliate programs (including MaxBounty). If a reader clicks an affiliate link and completes a qualifying action, Financial Decision Lab may earn a commission at no cost to the reader.

We only link to services that are directly relevant to the article topic. The presence of an affiliate link does not indicate endorsement of any particular product, and affiliate relationships do not determine which products are covered or how they are evaluated.

Affiliate links are always disclosed — both in the inline disclosure at the top of each article and in our full Affiliate Disclosure.

4. Accuracy and Updates

Personal finance rules, program thresholds, interest rates, and government policy change. We review articles periodically and update them when we identify outdated information. Articles that have been materially updated display an "Updated" date alongside the original publication date.

We do not, however, guarantee that any specific figure, rule, or program detail is current at the time of reading. Readers should always verify program eligibility, rates, and requirements directly with the relevant institution or government agency before making any financial decision.

5. Corrections Policy

If you believe an article contains a factual error, we want to know about it. Email us at aditya@digiwinddigitalmarketing.com with the article URL and the specific error. We will investigate and, if the correction is warranted, update the article and note the change.

Corrections are made transparently — we do not silently alter published figures or delete claims without acknowledgment.

6. What This Site Is Not

Financial Decision Lab is an informational and educational publication. It is not a financial advisory firm, a registered investment advisor, a licensed lender, a broker, or a government agency. Nothing published here constitutes financial, legal, investment, or tax advice. Readers should consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
